Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Psych of Sales collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or submit a form as a company or as sales talent.

Last updated: November 2025

1. Who we are

Psych of Sales helps US-based B2B companies build native-language sales pods (setters and closers) and connects multilingual sales talent with those opportunities.

When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it refers to Psych of Sales as the operator of this website and the services described on it.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • when you visit psychofsales.com and related pages,
  • when you submit a form (for example, “Run the Math”, “Work With Us” or “Contact”), and
  • when we communicate with you by email or other channels in connection with our services.

It does not cover websites, services or platforms that we do not control. Those have their own privacy terms.

3. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

3.1 Information you provide directly

When you fill in forms or contact us, you may provide:

  • Contact details – name, email address, company name, website, role, and similar information.
  • Business details – who you sell to (ICP), target markets and languages, average deal size, meetings per month, close rate, gross margin, revenue targets, budget and timing.
  • Talent information – for setters and closers: language skills, location and time zone, years in sales, roles, industries, performance history, tools used, availability and compensation preferences.
  • Message content – any text you choose to include in free-text fields or emails.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

  • IP address and approximate location,
  • device type and browser type,
  • pages visited, time on page, referring URLs, and
  • basic interaction data (for example, button clicks or form views).

This typically happens through cookies, pixels or similar technologies, described further below.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries – such as replying to your contact request or “Run the Math” submission.
  • To assess client fit – using your business inputs to estimate whether a multilingual pod is economically justified.
  • To assess talent fit – evaluating language, experience and performance information for potential pod roles.
  • To operate and improve our services – understanding which pages and offers are most relevant and where to improve.
  • For marketing and outreach – for example, sending relevant updates or following up on form submissions where permitted.
  • For compliance and security – maintaining logs, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations.

5. How we use AI and MCP

We use an internal server built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to help us organize and review form submissions. This MCP service connects our site forms to tools like Google Sheets and AI models powered by ChatGPT.

We use this setup to:

  • categorize companies and talent based on the information you submit,
  • calculate basic “run the math” metrics (for example, ACV ranges, meetings, margin), and
  • draft internal notes or template responses that a human reviews before sending.

When we use these AI tools, we send structured text from your submission through our MCP server to ChatGPT. This processing is used to handle your request and improve our internal workflows. We do not use AI to make fully automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects without human review.

Our infrastructure and AI providers are expected to keep your data secure and to use it only to provide their services to us, according to their own terms and policies.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to understand how our site is used and to improve our marketing. These may be set by us (first-party) or by third parties that provide services to us.

6.1 Analytics

We may use tools such as Google Analytics (including Google Analytics 4) and Google Tag Manager to collect aggregated information about site usage, such as which pages are visited and how long visitors stay. These tools may set cookies or use similar identifiers to help us understand traffic patterns.

We use this information to improve site content, measure interest in our services and understand which channels are bringing relevant visitors, not to build consumer profiles for unrelated advertising.

6.2 Advertising and first-party data

We may use Google Ads or similar platforms to run campaigns for Psych of Sales. In connection with this, we may:

  • place tags or pixels on our site to measure conversions and form submissions,
  • use first-party data (for example, business contact details you provide) to create matched or lookalike audiences, where permitted, and
  • measure which campaigns lead to qualified inquiries or talent applications.

Where platforms support it, any business contact data used for audience matching is typically hashed and processed under the platform’s own terms and policies. We do not sell your personal information.

6.3 Your choices

You can control cookies via your browser settings and by using tools provided by Google and other platforms to opt out of certain types of tracking or advertising. Note that disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

7. Legal bases (where applicable)

We primarily operate with US-based businesses. If data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Consent – for example, where you ask us to contact you or opt in to certain communications.
  • Contract – where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you or your company.
  • Legitimate interests – such as operating and improving our services, screening for fit, and preventing misuse, balanced against your rights and interests.
  • Legal obligations – where we must retain or share information to comply with law.

8. When we share information

We may share your information with third parties in the following situations:

  • Service providers – such as hosting providers, analytics providers, CRM tools, email services and our MCP/AI infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
  • Client–talent matching – where it is clearly part of the process (for example, sharing a talent profile with a client, or sharing basic client context with a pod), we may share relevant business and professional information.
  • Legal, safety and compliance – where required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or the rights and safety of others.
  • Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition or similar event, if relevant.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • to review fit for current or future pods (for talent),
  • to evaluate and follow up on potential engagements (for companies),
  • to maintain records of communications and decisions, and
  • to comply with legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

We may anonymize or aggregate data so that it can no longer be linked to an individual, and use that information for legitimate business purposes.

10. International transfers

Our operations primarily focus on US-based companies and sales talent, but our infrastructure and service providers may process data in other countries.

Where required, we take steps to ensure that transfers are made with appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms, and that providers only process data according to our instructions.

11. Your choices and rights

Your options may vary depending on where you live, but typically include:

  • Access and update – you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and request corrections.
  • Delete – you can ask us to delete certain information, subject to legal or operational needs to retain it.
  • Object or restrict – you can object to certain types of processing or ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Marketing preferences – you can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect, including access controls, secure hosting and limiting access to those who need it for their role.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If we become aware of a significant incident that affects your information, we will take appropriate steps to investigate and, where required, notify you and regulators.

13. Children

Our services and this website are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. In some cases, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or a banner on the site).
