Data, Tracking & Cookies

This page explains how Psych of Sales uses cookies, analytics, advertising tags, first-party data and AI-powered tools (including our MCP system and ChatGPT) when you visit our site or submit a form.

This summary is for transparency and compliance with common analytics and advertising requirements (including Google Analytics and Google Ads). It sits alongside, and does not replace, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. What we collect when you visit

When you browse psychofsales.com, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • Device and browser information (e.g., type, operating system, settings).
  • IP address, approximate location (at a city/region level) and language settings.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, and how you reached the site.
  • Interactions with forms and calls to action (e.g., “Run the Math” or “Work With Us”).

This information is used primarily in aggregated form to understand how people use the site, improve content, and measure the performance of our marketing.

2. Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and tags) to make the site work properly, understand usage and, in some cases, support advertising and remarketing.

Types of cookies we may use

  • Strictly necessary cookies – required for basic site functionality and security (e.g., load balancing, form submission security). These generally cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Analytics cookies – help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, what content performs best) so we can improve UX and content.
  • Advertising & remarketing cookies – set by partners like Google Ads to measure conversions and, where allowed, run remarketing or similar audiences based on site activity.
  • Preference cookies – remember basic choices (such as cookie consent selections) so we do not have to ask you repeatedly.

Where required by law (for example, in certain jurisdictions), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and give you a way to change your preferences.

3. Analytics & measurement (Google Analytics, etc.)

We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics (including Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors interact with our site and marketing campaigns.

  • Google Analytics uses cookies and identifiers to collect information on page views, events, device data and high-level location.
  • We receive aggregated reports (e.g., how many people visited a page, how many completed a form, which channels drove traffic).
  • We may connect Google Analytics with Google Ads or other platforms to understand which campaigns drive conversions and to optimize our media spend.

We use these insights to improve site performance, content, funnels and sales pod offers. We do not use Google Analytics to collect or store sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, religion, or other special categories) on this site.

You can control how Google Analytics tracks you using tools like browser add-ons, your ad settings, or your browser’s privacy controls.

4. Advertising, Google Ads & first-party data

Like many B2B companies, we use advertising platforms such as Google Ads to reach potential clients and measure the impact of our marketing. To do this responsibly, we rely heavily on first-party data and platform policies.

Conversion tracking & remarketing

  • We may install Google Ads tags and related tools (such as the conversion linker) to measure when a visitor fills out a form, clicks certain buttons, or takes other actions on the site.
  • Where allowed, we may use remarketing or similar audiences so that people who visited important pages (e.g., “Run the Math,” “Work With Us”) can see follow-up ads on Google properties and partner sites.
  • We follow Google’s policies regarding restricted and sensitive categories and do not intentionally build audiences around sensitive attributes.

Use of first-party data (FPD)

When you submit your details (for example, as a client lead or talent applicant), we may use that first-party data in a few ways, including:

  • To follow up with you directly (by email or phone) about our services or your application.
  • To measure which ads and campaigns drove qualified leads, by securely matching conversions back to ad clicks where platforms support it.
  • To create or update privacy-compliant, hashed audience lists on platforms such as Google Ads for measurement and targeting (for example, excluding existing clients from prospecting campaigns).

Any audience or customer-list use of first-party data is done in line with the relevant platform’s terms and policies. We do not sell your personal data to third-party data brokers.

5. MCP & AI (including ChatGPT)

We use internal tools built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI models (including OpenAI’s ChatGPT) to help us process and organize the information you share with us.

Examples of how these tools may be used include:

  • Classifying form submissions as Client vs Talent and tagging them by language, market, industry and potential fit.
  • Summarizing your answers (e.g., your ICP, ACV range, performance history) so our team can review and respond more efficiently.
  • Supporting internal decision-making about whether a multilingual pod makes sense for your economics, or where a candidate belongs on our talent bench.

These MCP and AI systems are assistive — they support our human team but do not make final binding decisions on client acceptance, pricing, or employment/contractor decisions by themselves.

Use of MCP and ChatGPT is subject both to our own Privacy Policy and to the terms, privacy policies and security measures of the AI providers we rely on. We do not intentionally use these tools to process sensitive special-category data for targeting or advertising.

6. Your choices & controls

You have several ways to control how data is collected and used for analytics and advertising:

  • Cookie & consent settings – where available, use our cookie banner or preference manager to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  • Browser settings – you can block or delete cookies through your browser, but some features of the site may not function correctly.
  • Ad settings – use tools like Google’s Ad Settings and industry opt-out pages (e.g., NAI/DAA in the US) to manage interest-based ads.
  • Email preferences – if you receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or contact us directly.
  • Data rights – depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete certain personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details and how to exercise those rights.

7. Updates & contact

We may update this Data, Tracking & Cookies page from time to time as our tools, practices or legal requirements change. When we do, we will adjust the “Last updated” date below and may highlight material changes on the site.

If you have questions about how we use cookies, analytics, advertising tags, first-party data or MCP/AI tools, you can reach us via the Contact page or at hello@psychofsales.com.
